My Mini Race Car Project Pack

To accelerate TE's awareness and growth with small and medium size businesses and maker communities, TE partnered with distributor Digi-Key and Adafruit, an open-source hardware company that designs, manufactures and sells electronic product accessories.  Founded by MIT graduate Limor Fried aka LadyAda, the company has developed a rich community of engineers through live and recorded videos related to electronics, technology, and programming. 

To foster engagement with Adafruit and Digi-Key's communities, we put out a design challenge to create a mini-race car with TE products.  Engineers shared their unique designs on “Show and Tell” and had the opportunity to ask TE engineer Judith Henzel about her experience working with the Andretti Team.  LadyAda also visited the Andretti Formula E paddock, providing her community with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look of the technology powering the all-electric race cars.
